What you didn't expect from Judy on Sitcom "Still Standing"
You may know her as the hilarious mom, Judy Miller, from "Still Standing". You may even know her from the movie "Twister", or her appearance in the tv show "Seinfield". But what you didn't know is that she and her husband Antony Ressler have their own charity, the Ressler Gertz Foundation. They have donated over 10 million dollars to their charity. Wow. Just the idea of possesing that much money is ridiculous, and then the fact of having enough money to give away 10 million dollars? Mind-bending.
The Ressler Gerz Foundation is said to primarily focus on Educational Institutions and Related Activities. Scholarships are also included in that. On top of that, grants from their foundation include $1.7 million to the LA County Museum of Art, and $400 thousand to the Cedar Sinai Medical. Not much is said about this foundation, so my information about it is limited.
What it all comes down to is using you're money for good. She and her husband did not have to do this. They could have spent on a yacht, a couple of fancy cars, or even a private concert from Ke$ha (which wouldn't be a great investment in my opinion). But no, they decided to use it for education and a better outcome for tomorrow. All I can say is you and your husband rock Jami.
